Why:
The West Portal Branch is the second library to be renovated through the Branch Library Improvement Program, which was funded by a $105.9 million bond measure approved by voters in 2000. A separate fundraising campaign by Friends of the San Francisco Public Library provided new furniture and equipment for the West Portal Branch. The library is now seismically safe and fully accessible. Highlights include a designated teen area, improved landscape, a new addition and elevator, as well as beautifully restored historic furniture and décor.

Please RSVP to (415) 557-4277

We voted to renovate and build new branch libraries across the city. It's happening!
