I was disappointed when I received my book. I didn’t think I could understand a book about law, and wouldn’t choose to read one. But then I found this book both accessible and fascinating. I learned bizarre details from centuries of criminalizing homosexuality and I became intrigued and appalled with the idea and practice of entrapment. A few days after I received the book I turned on the TV to a reality cop show bragging about entrapment. I was enraged and ready to begin. Wielding a blade alchemically, I decided to follow the work of the slasher. First by cutting detailed stencils illustrating police actions and queer affection, and then cutting out a few select texts, and finally by tearing the rest of the book and reconstituting it as hand-made paper. This new book includes 100% of the original, with the addition of some pigment, thread, and some black fabric to hold it all together.
