Founded in 1978, the San Francisco Girls Chorus has become a regional center for choral music education and performance for girls and young women ages 7-18.
More than 300 singers from 160 schools in 44 Bay Area cities participate in this internationally recognized program, deemed “a model in the country for training girls’ voices” by the California Arts Council.
Level III is the third of four levels in the San Francisco Girls Chorus' Chorus School. These girls, spanning the 4th through 9th grades, will
perform a program of varied choral repertoire, with time for questions and answers after the performance. Children and families are encouraged to attend.
