Street Life by Max
On my way home from the
movies with my mom. It is raining
outside but I don’t feel it. I hear the
papat papat of the rain like someone
patting on our car window.
I look outside and see people
standing with newspapers over their
heads to shield themselves from the rain.
I wonder, does it rain all over the world
when it rains here? People crowding
under awnings with umbrellas, and then
there’s the people with no protection.
The homeless. A man looking through
a dumpster. An old woman sitting
on a crate with a Starbuck’s cup
begging for money.
Sleeping on the sidewalk with
no cover.
Well I guess that’s
street life.

Down with War by Sebastian
War is an idiot.
War thinks it is just a game, a sport, a past time, atoy!!
War thinks every soldier is just another slice of apple pie.
War thinks every creature is just a pawn in this game of death.
Down with War!!
George Bush, the war's brother.
Turning normal men into mindless warriors
And sending them into the belly of the beast,
Instead of freeing them from war's despicable stomach,
He leaves them there to rot for eternity.
George Bush, the war's brother.
Down with war!!
Down with war!!!
Politicians, the servants of war,
Carrying out bush's orders,
Destroying our freedom, our will, soul.
Helping Bush complete his plans of pure evil,
What kind of humanity is that?!!
Down with war!!
Down with war!!!
Darkness, the worst of them all,
War's father. Bush's ruler,
Politician's god,
Filling our hearts with evil,
Turning our love into hatred.
Turning our brains into, well,
I don't even want to know.
But where there's darkness there is light,
Where there is war, there is peace,!
Where there is George Bush, there will be the people,
We can change everything,
Honor the people that came before us.
The only way to change history is to work together,
Down with war!!!
