The Government Information Center (GIC) is a full depository for California
State documents distributed through the Library Distribution
Act. (California Gov. Code 14900).
To locate a document, first check the SFPL catalog. Many newer documents and
series (e.g. the state budget) are cataloged. If
the document is not in the Library's catalog, check
the Government Information Center’s card
catalog. The card catalog has agency and title
access points only. Ask at the GIC desk if you
need assistance, or call the GIC at 415-557-4500
or e-mail governmentinfo@sfpl.org
In addition
to items received through the depository collection,
the Library purchases items to supplement its collection
of California government materials. |
