Notice of Meeting: July 17, 2003

A regular meeting of the San Francisco Public Library Commission will be held as follows:

The meeting will be called to order.

1. ACTION
   APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
   
   Presentation of, discussion of, and possible action to approve the Minutes of the special Commission meeting of June 26, 2003.

2. DISCUSSION
   BOND PROGRAM MANAGER’S REPORT
   
   (This is a discussion item to allow the Branch Library Bond Program Manager to report on recent bond program related activities and make announcements.)
   
   This report will consist of an informational presentation: none regular reports: program budget and schedule; active projects; and upcoming community outreach; and special reports; none.

3. ACTION
   JOINT USE COOPERATIVE AGREEMENTS BETWEEN SFPL & SFUSD
   
   Presentation and discussion of Cooperative Agreements for Ingleside Branch – Aptos Middle School / Ortega Branch – A.P. Gianni Middle School, Sunset Elementary School / Visitacion Valley Branch – Visitacion Valley Middle School, Visitacion Valley Elementary School between the Library and the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) and possible action to approve resolutions recommending Board of Supervisors’ approval of the proposed agreements.

4. ACTION
   ILS IMPLEMENTATION UPDATE
   
   Presentation on and discussion of the new ILS (Integrated Library System) including possible action to authorize a Systemwide closure at 6PM on a weekday followed by an all day closure the next day and a morning closure the following day, (opening at 1PM).
