A regular meeting of the San Francisco Public Library Commission will be held as follows:

4. WI-FI UPDATE
Presentation of and discussion of an update on Wi-Fi services provided by the
Library.
- DISCUSSION5. BOND PROGRAM MANAGER’S REPORT
This report will consist of an
informational presentation: none; regular reports:
program budget, schedule, and construction reports; active projects; and community outreach; and special reports: Western Addition Library Peer Review response.
This item was continued from the December 16, 2004 regular meeting to provide opportunity for public comment on and Commission discussion of the BLIP Manager’s December 16th Report.
- ACTION 6. BLIP BUDGET & SCHEDULE REVIEW
Presentation of, and discussion of, and possible action to approve revisions in
the Branch Library Improvement Program (BLIP) Budget and schedule as a
result of the addition of $9.7 million in Prop. 14 (State Library Bond) funds.
- DISCUSSION 7. CITY LIBRARIAN’S REPORT
by Acting City Librarian Paul Underwood
(This item is to allow the Acting City Librarian to report on recent Library activities and make announcements)
The City Librarian will report on the following subjects: a brief response to
issues concerning activities in the Koret Auditorium, and the computer use
reservation system; the ALA (American Library Association) Mid-Winter
Conference; and exhibitions and programs.
- ACTION8. COMMISSION MEETINGS SCHEDULE
Presentation of, discussion of, and possible action to approve a schedule
of dates for the regular Commission Meetings for 2005.

9. FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY REPORT
(This item is to allow the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library to inform the Commission of their current and proposed activities.)
- 10. LABOR UNION REPORT
(This item is to allow members of library labor organizations to report on employee matters within the Commission’s purview as well as to suggest new agenda items for the Library Commission’s consideration.)
- 11. NEW BUSINESS
(This item is to allow Commissioners to introduce new agenda items for consideration.)
- ACTION 12. ADJOURNMENT
