Every branch in the San Francisco Public Library System offers a selection of English language books at adult, teen and children's reading levels. Branches also offer a variety of magazines, newspapers, videos, audio books, CDs and DVDs. Materials in numerous languages are available in the children's collections. The Library’s large collection of Web resources is accessible from all branch libraries.
The Eureka Valley/Harvey Milk Memorial Branch houses a special collection of Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender (GLBT) materials. The collection includes lesbian fiction, gay men's fiction, books about/for gay teens, nonfiction, periodicals, newspapers and videos. Additional research materials are available in the James C. Hormel Gay & Lesbian Center at the Main Library.
