This year, Project Read celebrates 25 years of providing literacy services to the residents of San Francisco. Since 1983, our volunteer tutors have helped thousands of San Franciscans increase their reading and writing skills to become more productive family members, workers, and citizens.
To commemorate this 25th anniversary, a team of learners, tutors, and program supporters will be planning a celebration to take place in the fall. If you would like to help in the planning of this gala event, please give us a call. We are also looking for individuals and businesses to underwrite the cost of the celebration or to provide in-kind services to help make the event a truly special occasion.
