The clothing company begun by Mario St. Rose over 2 years ago is going strong. Mario believes that the tutoring he received at Project Read has helped him grow and made it possible for him to achieve his goal of starting the Forrio Clothing Company – www.forrioclothing.com. Mario hopes that the success of his company will someday enable him to give something back to the many people who have helped him along the way.
Dayana Salazar recently received her California state certification as a phlebotomist - that is, someone who draws blood and handles medical specimens. She was offered and accepted a job at California Pacific Medical Center. Dayana is specializing in pediatric patients. She has also successfully completed another semester at City College, and she passed her organic chemistry course.
