My First Time in a Courtroom

It was my first time in the courtroom and my first case. The suit involved the former tenants from the apartment building that burned two years ago.
     Going to the courtroom for the first time made me very nervous. I had my deposition first. That took me two hours to answer many questions and try to remember what I lost. Everything came out better than I expected.
     We finally got our final settlement. It took two years to get it. We all came out happy.
