Become a Neighborhood Ambassador for Project Read! In our efforts to enhance and expand our outreach efforts, Project Read is looking for a few committed tutors and/or learners to help spread the word about our services. Even though Outreach Coordinator Leon Veal does an excellent job of maintaining program visibility in the community, he can’t be everywhere—he’s just one guy with one van. Besides, you know your neighborhood the best. Ambassadors will be asked to distribute our promotional materials at churches, community centers, stores, schools and various public events in your neighborhood. You can also keep us informed of opportunities to speak or set up information tables at neighborhood meetings and civic events. Please consider helping us in this important outreach effort.
