Fireworks
Fireworks
by Neil Mills
In the last three years I have gone to three fireworks shows. For the Fourth of July show in Washington D.C. in 2000, they spent $100,000 on that event that only lasted one half hour.
At the Fourth of July fireworks show in San Francisco in 2001, there was so many people you could not get a bus. The traffic was so bad I had to walk home, about three miles.
The last one was New Years of 2001. I really liked that one. It was in Bangkok on the big river. I stood on a pier and looked up. It was wonderful, it felt like you were right under the fireworks show. I will go back to that show if I have a chance.
