On
Saturday, April 28, Iris performed in an original church play in Pittsburg,
CA.
This is her account of the experience. |

Saturday I participated in a play. It was the most wonderful experience
I ever had. I played a character named “Mrs. Live Right” who never did anything
wrong. One day she got on a train full of people who claimed they were good. So I (Mrs. Live Right) sat down in the front of the train and someone told me I had to get up because they should sit there for all the good things they did. So I got up and moved. Then some more people told me to get up and I did. Then the conductor called out, “Next stop hell!” and she started calling out names of people who sinned and did bad things. After she called all the names, nobody was left on the train but Mrs. Live Right. The conductor then said, “Come go with me, Mrs. Live Right. We are going to heaven.” It was a very interesting play. I hope that the people who played bad parts in the play are not like that in real life. When the play was over we all took a bow and shook hands. Shortly after that, we all went to dinner. |
