Thanks
to fundraising by Jim Losi of Charles Schwab Community Investment Services,
we will soon be able to expand the Wednesday Night Readers, our very
popular book discussion group. This group of learners and tutors has
been meeting monthly since January, but the high cost of books and books-on-tape
has forced us to limit each meeting to twenty individuals. Thanks to
Jim, we can now start an additional discussion group!
We want your input concerning the day

The Project
Read Computer Lab Team has been hard at work fixing up some great donated
computers. We will have a special party and raffle on Wednesday, September
5, 2001 at 6:00 pm.
To enter this contest you must:
• Come by the Project Read office and fill out an entry slip by August
31.
• Be an active Project Read learner when you enter and at the time of
the raffle.
• Have not won a computer from us before.
