Project Read would like to dedicate a few pages of our winter 2007 newsletter to Black History Month, so we are asking adult learners to contribute their original stories about an event or person connected with Black History.
Subjects might include:
- a short biography of a famous African-American
- a description of an important event in Black History
- a personal memory relating the history of African-Americans
In order to get the newsletter printed and published by early February 2007, we will need all submissions sent to the Project Read office by January 15.
