Iris wrote this in 1997 to express her concerns about what was happening at that time.

What is going on in Iraq? I would like to know myself. The United Nations want to compromise with Saddam Hussein but he is not ready to at this time. There might be a war pretty soon. I hope not because I do not want any more lives to be lost.
