Tell Bush
by Amjad Mousa

March 4, 2003
Hi, my name is Amjad Mousa. I’ve been in America for 12 years. I love the people. They are nice to me. What is good about people? They help every time like my tutor Jan. She helps me.
I wish we don’t go to war. If we look at the technology we have these days, the smart bomb; these innocent people are going to get hurt. They have nothing to do with anything. Especially kids and women and old people. I wish we will be able to settle this situation peacefully. To me anyone who kills any innocent people — I don’t care who they are — if they are the government or group, they have only one name: they are terrorists.
I wish one day all people from all over the world they love each other and work all together, and help each other and live in peace and love for the rest of their lives.
The discrimination of the Middle Eastern people after September 11 does reach the highest level. The United States was built by immigrants from all over the world. So why is the Middle Eastern people the only ones that has to get questioned from the INS? I don’t think anyone wants anybody to get hurt. There is good people and there is bad people and this is all over the world. Discrimination and hate crime is terrorism.
We are human beings. We are on this earth as a visitor. Some of us live one day and some of us live 100 years but we all go. We will leave the earth the way it was before we came to it. Then please tell me why we are fighting. If that does not make sense to you, then tell me what does make sense. To kill each other? Or hate each other? Till when? God bless the people, and I wish everybody happy life.
This is from Amjad Mousa. Thank you.
