To Read and Write Something

The way I look at things, I look straight ahead. You have to look back sometimes, but it doesn’t help to think about why I did not learn to read and write back when I was a kid and a teenager. To learn how to read and write at an older age is hard. I’m in my 50’s and read at the third grade level.
Now I want to write something, but I still can’t think how to spell. I want to write a lot of things, but writing is the same way as reading; I want to read and write it all by myself. It is hard to read, write, and spell all at the same time.
It’s coming along slowly, but I’m looking straight ahead and trying to do the best I can.
