Project Read learner Karmann Robbins called to reconnect with
her tutor. In our conversation, she said that her reading skills have
continued to develop, and that she had just finished reading her third
book and was ready for her fourth!

Stewart took the written test for a job with the City and County
of San Francisco. He passed the test and is now on a list for a city
job!
- LeWarren
Jackson: During the summer of 2002, LeWarren joined Support Housing
Employment Collaboration , a work/study program. In September 2002,
he became employed as a desk clerk and continues in that position;
and in December, he graduated from the program!
- Hoover
Chan recently researched, found, applied, interviewed, negotiated
salary, and was hired for a great new job. He just got back from a
comprehensive two week training in Minneapolis, Minnesota! (See photos
below)
