A Lovely Blissful Night
of Music

by Wonderful Wright

What a grand opening at the San Francisco Symphony! My sweet tutor Mary and I went to the program on September 21, 2000. I caught the bus and met my sweet Mary at Davies Symphony Hall. What a lovely sight to see! Beautiful gowns, people—dress up to go out on the town. We had the best seats in the house.
The music was like heaven. Mostly string instruments. When the Mozart’s Notturno in D major for Four Orchestras was played, one part of the orchestra was on the stage, one was behind us, and a third part of the orchestra was on another level. That made it very unique to hear the three sounds coming from different directions: front, back and side.
Please, if you ever get a chance to go to the symphony, go and listen to the world’s great blissful orchestra. Enlightening. Very transformational.
