E-mail Courtesy Notice

Have you ever wished that the library would send you a reminder to return your materials BEFORE they are due? If you have an e-mail address listed in your library account, we will now send you an e-mail courtesy notice two days before your materials are due.

If you would like to receive all of your notices via e-mail you can add your address by logging on to your library account and clicking on “modify personal information.”

If you do not wish to receive courtesy notices you can remove your e-mail address from your record, or your e-mail program may allow you to filter them out using specific words in the subject line. All courtesy notices have “San Francisco Public Library Courtesy Notice” in the subject field.

Beginning in March 2006 the library will offer telephone notification and, we can also send notices by U.S. Mail.

For questions or more information, call (415) 557-4400.
