Merced Branch Library History

Merced Branch Library was designed by architects Appleton & Wolfard and built at a cost of $137,511. The building was constructed in 1957 and opened to the public on January 24, 1958. Merced Branch was the 25th branch established in the San Francisco Public Library system.
