The Children’s Bookmobile is a mobile library serving young children and their caregivers. The Bookmobile is an outreach program designed to support literacy development by bringing books, sharing stories, rhymes, and songs, and creating a love of reading, books, and libraries. |

- 50 SCHEDULED STOPS each month, serving preschools, transitional housing, Boys & Girls clubs, and
public housing developments.
- Children's picture stories, board books, early readers, chapter books and non-fiction.
- Spanish and Chinese children’s books.
- Teacher and parenting books and resources.
- Music CDs, audio books, and DVDs.
- On-site storytimes with children’s librarian.
- Children’s librarian on board to recommend and locate books and materials.
- Borrow and return library books and materials.
